ABOUT US
"Eddie I" is a warm and friendly Jewish
sleepaway camp that’s not too far from home. Located in the
foothills of the Taconic Mountains in Dutchess County, beautiful
Camp Edward Isaacs is only 70 miles from New York City.
A kosher Jewish residential camp serving boys
and girls ages 7-16, our ideal size (only 200 campers!) our experienced
staff (4 to 1 camper to staff ratio!) and more than 40 years of
Jewish summer camp tradition create a caring and sharing family
atmosphere.
Summer camp at “Eddie I” is an extraordinary
experience in Jewish camping and community, where value and values
meet, and fun and friendship begin.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Camp Edward Isaacs is to provide
our campers with a safe, nurturing Jewish camp experience
and a well rounded quality program that places an emphasis on fun,
friendships, self-esteem, and skill development. By exposing
our campers to the beauty of our Jewish heritage, we provide them
with magical memories that will strengthen their Jewish identities.
