While
at Camp Edward Isaacs, campers develop an appreciation for the beauty
of their Jewish heritage and experience magical memories that will strengthen
their Jewish identity.
Camp
Edward Isaacs uses a soft approach to help campers discover and enjoy
their Judaism. Through the fun and excitement that each camp day brings,
we intertwine a creative Jewish component into the many different areas
of the program. Whether jewelry making or nature hiking, campers are
exposed to the values and traditions of Judaism in a fun and engaging
way.
Campers
participate in the customs and preparation of holiday celebrations,
experience life cycle programs and get creative with mezuzah making.
They enjoy the pre-shabbat planning, creative Friday night and Saturday
morning services and are moved by our outdoor lakeside havdallah services.
Campers
will discover that their Judaism is a fun and exciting part of them
as they develop a love and appreciation for who they are as people and
as Jews.
