Could you describe the Edward Isaacs swim program?

Campers enjoy 2 swims daily in our Olympic size heated swimming pool. The first swim of every morning is reserved for instruction. Our Water Safety Instructor (WSI) swim staff uses the morning swim to teach our campers how to advance their swim level with the use of the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program. Each camper earns a certificate and swim level card from the American Red Cross at the end of their summer stay. The afternoon swim is equally well supervised and is for fun and games. Recreation swim is the way to keep cool all summer long. Campers love splashing around in the deep-end, using the diving board, slide and basketball hoops. Campers participate in swimming relay races and fun contests all summer long.

What is the camp's policy concerning phone calls home and phone calls from home?

Phone Calls Home: Each bunk will have a designated Phone Home Time while at camp.  Parents and caregivers will be informed as to when to expect a call from their child (Ex. Ruth A will have Phone Home Time on Wednesday from 7-9 P.M.  Parents and caregivers can expect to hear from Lisa sometime between 7 and 9 P.M.)

Phone Calls From Home to Camp: It is our desire to provide each camper with a fluid, fun, and exciting camp day.  For this reason, we prefer that calls into camp be limited to emergencies only.  Please remember to reserve calls into camp for emergencies only (remember that the sound of a loved ones voice can stir up some "home sickness" that might have otherwise not been present).
